Randy Rich
Vice President of Philanthropy
Randy graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1976 with a degree in Biology. He went on to play in the National Football League (NFL) as a defensive back and special team’s player. During his four year career, he was a member of the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, and Denver Broncos, including the 1977 Broncos Super Bowl XII Team. After retiring from the NFL, he spent the next eighteen years in broadcasting as the President and General Manager of the oldest contemporary Christian music station in the United States. During his time at KLYT, he was a leader in developing regional satellite networks and was awarded the National Station Manager of the Year in 1997. With the development of a multi media interactive video program called “Change Your World”, he was able to present a message of hope and encouragement in hundreds of schools across the country, reaching hundreds of thousands of kids. Apart from his relationship with his three daughters, it was the most rewarding thing he has done.
In November of 2001, Randy joined the International Cooperating Ministries (ICM), where he served as the western regional manager of development. Headquartered in Hampton Virginia, ICM broadcasts the Gospel through Trans World Radio and provides resources to build Churches, Bible colleges, and Orphanages in third world countries.
May of 2009 began a new phase in Randy’s life when he accepted his current position of Vice-President of Philanthropy at Educational Media Foundation.
